Which dryers are used for different materials
The dryer type is selected by the material, its moisture, fraction, heat sensitivity and purpose. The main directions of our equipment:
- grain dryers (tower, continuous-flow, batch, mobile) — for grain, oilseeds, legumes and seed material;
- universal / conveyor dryers — for herbs, forage, medicinal plants, greens and heat-sensitive raw materials;
- drum dryers — for biomass, cakes, husks, pomace, organic and mineral materials.

Which products can be dried in industrial dryers?
Grain and oilseeds, legumes, seeds and planting material, herbs, forage and medicinal plants, nuts, fruits and vegetables, processed food products, cakes and husks, wood and biomass, organic fertilisers and livestock waste, industrial waste and recyclables, mineral and inert materials. For each type of raw material a suitable dryer type and regime are selected.
How do grain dryers differ from dryers for herbs or biomass?
Grain dryers handle free-flowing grain (tower, continuous-flow, batch). Herbs, green mass and biomass with high moisture content are more often dried on belt, conveyor and drum dryers, where a gentle regime and preservation of colour, aroma or calorific value matter.
Is there a universal dryer that dries everything?
No. There is no single dryer for everything: the regime, temperature, air flow and design are selected for the moisture, fraction, heat sensitivity and purpose of the specific material. Still, many of our dryers are multi-functional and work with several similar products.
Can you dry a product that is not on the list?
Yes. If your product is not in the catalogue or is non-standard, describe its properties (moisture, fraction, heat sensitivity, volumes) and we will assess the task and propose a suitable solution or adaptation.
What do you need to know to select a dryer?
The product and its purpose, initial and final moisture, required capacity, available fuel (gas, diesel, biomass, electricity), quality requirements and siting conditions. From these the dryer type, thermal scheme and approximate capacity are selected.
